About Learnvia Courseware

Combines lessons, interactive “learn by doing” videos, homework, quizzes and exams, discussions, and AI-powered tutoring in a single seamless, mobile-friendly platform.

A Modern Alternative to Textbooks

Lessons are designed in short, “chunked” activities of about 15 minutes that keep students engaged. Each activity builds incrementally toward homework, which then scaffolds into quizzes. The sequence follows backward design, where quizzes assess the learning goals, homework prepares students for those quizzes, and lessons prepare students for their homework.

Backward-Designed and Research- Informed

Faculty can rearrange, include or exclude, make optional, and rename content and modules. They can also add notes, adjust pacing, and modify assessments. For faster setup, pre-built course configurations are available for standard academic terms.

Configurable and Flexible

Students can attempt assignments multiple times, receive error-specific hints and explanations, and launch an on-demand AI tutor trained on the courseware whenever they need help. These features work together to encourage persistence, promote learning from mistakes, and provide timely feedback at the moment it is most useful.

A New Standard for Courseware

Redefining Courseware

Learnvia represents a new model for courseware —one focused on solving real classroom challenges. As a nonprofit, Learnvia develops both its technology and its content in-house so pedagogy and platform evolve together. Every decision is shaped by evidence and faculty input, resulting in courseware that responds directly to instructors’ needs and helps more students succeed.

Student Experience

Short, scaffolded modules break concepts into focused 10-minute activities. Each activity is interactive and provides immediate feedback. A content-aware AI tutor offers help at the moment of confusion, while auto-graded homework and practice quizzes promote mastery through unlimited retries and solution paths.

Faculty Experience

By automating routine grading and feedback processes, Learnvia reduces faculty workload associated with repetitive tasks. Faculty instead receive timely indicators of student performance, allowing them to use class time for targeted support and more active, in-class mathematics instruction.

Student Outcomes

Gateway math courses carry some of the highest enrollment and failure rates, too often serving as roadblocks rather than runways for students pursuing their degrees. Learnvia shifts that pattern by keeping more students engaged, helping them complete assignments, build mastery, and earn credit—leading to fewer false starts and greater confidence in their ability to succeed in later courses.

Learnvia improves student outcomes in gateway math by boosting engagement, mastery, assignment completion, and earned credit

Faculty & Institutional Outcomes

Teaching outcomes improve when grading, reporting, and course setup no longer consume disproportionate time. With those tasks streamlined, faculty can direct instruction where it’s most needed, supported by real-time insight into student challenges. At the institutional level, this efficiency results in fewer course repeats, stronger progression through gateway math, and better student outcomes.
